Next Corgi Get Together
|
Hi Corgi owners/lovers,
The next corgi get together will be on 9/27 (next Saturday) from 3pm-6pm at Loring park off-leash dog park. Here are some info about the park, it’s a relatively smaller dog park, but it’s very new and clean.

I just found this site and would love to meet you, but I don’t want to purchase another dog park permit-I just bought one for the Burnsville Alimagnet park. Do you have to have a permit, even if you don’t know that you’ll ever go back there?

Hunter and I should be there, however if they check that we don’t have a permit than we will have to leave : ( Are all of the get togethers at the Minneapolis dog parks and so I need to by a permit anyway?? OR will I be fine for this one?

I think not everyone has a permit. I live in Mpls (uptown) been going to the lake of the islse and other dog parks in mpls, have never been checked for permit. I think some of the owners indicated the same. We held various gatherings in dog parks in different part of town. If you know a good dog park and they will allow at least 1 visit from dogs taht don’t have permit or seldemly check for permit, let us know. We can plan the future meetups there.

Sounds Good. Someone else told me that this dog park doesn’t have a person that checks or anything so Hunter and I will be there : ) I know that the Bloomington and Burnsville dog parks do not need permits (that I know of) and don’t have anyone montioring it if you do. I’ve been going to those two for a little over a year now.

I had been looking forward to coming and having Ein meet everyone, but he has a sore leg from all of his playing this past weekend and is supposed to take it easy for 10 days, vet orders. Hopefully we can get together next time.
The Alimagnet Park in Burnsville doesn’t require a park permit, but they strongly suggest you purchase one if you plan on using it frequently to help with the upkeep. As far as I know the Bloomington one (which I haven’t been too yet) doesn’t require one.
